This flower is called Ranonkel in Dutch. It gives a retro feel and has also something hip and cheerful.Flowers make you happy anyway. They are works of art in itself. The petal of ranunculus are so thin and translucent, together they form a strong flower.
Enjoy.

Last Sunday we went to the Ceramic market in Maaseik (Belgium).
Maaseik has a nice market square and this is a nice place for events like this.
At the event were artist from a lot of country's.

Sadly,I forgot my camera to take a picture of the ambiance.

For those who love nice art, below are a few links to pages of the artist, and the picture to a blog with more pictures.

Appeltern

Yesterday we went to The Tuinen van Appeltern in Appeltern.
I had never been there, but it was a surprise to many beautiful gardens in one place. Lot of inspiration to use in garden design.

 Nice still-life

A beautiful, less is more garden

When I see a teahouse, I always hope that our garden would be more spacious. On the site of Aalberts you can see even more images. Have a nice dream.
